6/4/2010· Both the "regular" and the "XR" (itty bitty spheres in a capusle) are crushable. Beyond being able to crush them, it all depends on WHY you want to crush them in order to be of any real help to you... If you want Adderall to start working for you as soon as possible, I suggest that you take it before eating a meal, on an empty stomach.

I think youre a little confused on your conversions. Adderall xr is twice as strong as adderall ir. That means that 30mgxr = ~15mg ir. Crushing the xr pill will technically make it twice as strong, but since xr is already half as strong, you dont end up turning 30mg into 60mg, rather 15mg into 30mg.

11/4/2009· So taking 25mg xr but crushed up is the same as 25mg ir. I''m prescribed 20mg IRs twice a day and I''d say the effects start diminishing after 2 1/2 to 3 hours and are gone after 5 or 6. And yes it will be more intense but that''s just cause there is more adderall goin in ya at once.
